Below is a selection of pre-Christmas party menus, available for pre-booked parties for both lunch & dinner from December 2nd – 24th inclusive. The prices include canapés on arrival and an array of poppers, streamers, hats etc. Should you have any special requirements or ideas of your own we would be delighted to discuss them with you so as to tailor make a menu for your party. Alternative vegetarian dishes are available on request.

Bookings should be accompanied by a letter of confirmation together with a £15 per person non-refundable deposit, with the balance payable on the day of the meal. Final individual menu choices and numbers will be required 2 weeks in advance.

This year we are open on Christmas Day for a traditional Christmas Lunch, again on Boxing Day for Breakfast & Lunch, and on New Year’s Eve for supper & New Year’s Day Lunch.

Potted shrimps & smoked salmon
Grilled goats’ cheese & bacon with a spiced pear & walnut salad
Coarse game terrine with homemade winter fruit chutney & toasted brioche

Fillet of wild sea bass with a mussel, prawn & saffron risotto
Pot roasted local pheasant cooked with wild mushrooms, button onions & pancetta & served with braised red cabbage & parsnip puree
Roast local hen turkey with all the traditional accompaniments including bread sauce, chipolatas, bacon, homemade cranberry sauce & gravy
